Within this series of work are remixes of my hometowns notorious locations within the West Side of San Antonio. Much of these vernacular spots are often portrayed with pessimism and poverty. Although having spent my childhood crossing the streets and memorizing the buildings I have become accustomed to see these locations as distant ephemera. I collected images while driving down Zarzamora and rearranged to my liking as a way to change the narrative that many outsiders see.
